On February 28th, brides in Northwest Indiana will have access to a web portal designed specifically for them. NWIBridal.com brings together the best expert advice, bride resources and wedding planning information – all with a Northwest Indiana twist.
Founder Mark Tillema explains, “The web is full of wedding sites, but most of them aren’t relevant to local brides. We wanted to provide a place where they could find information and resources that would be practical for their wedding planning.”
NWIBridal.com offers local brides the opportunity to post engagement notices and set-up personal engagement/wedding websites to share news about their big day with family and friends. In addition, local experts will answer questions on everything from the latest bridesmaid dress styles to how much food to order for the reception.
When planning her wedding, Alyssa from Merrillville was faced with the difficulty of finding trusted vendors and wedding advice specific to Indiana. When shown the Northwest Indiana Bridal site, Alyssa said, “That’s brilliant – if only I had something like this a year and a half ago!”
Other features of the site include a bridal forum, section for grooms, resource articles and monthly contests. A list of wedding vendors – from cake bakeries to videographers is also included to make finding the best local businesses a breeze
