BabyGoShop.co.uk, the online retailer of baby travel products, has relocated from Grantham to Stamford. Business is already improving as a result.
Alison Pike, owner of BabyGoShop, commented: “We are now in a busy location where many mums walk past our door everyday. Seeing us for real means many more are visiting our website to view our range of baby travel accessories.”
Living and working in Stamford has slashed travel costs and BabyGoShop’s environmental impact. “A round trip of 50 miles a day is costly in time, fuel and CO2 emissions. We are more efficient now and greener,” says Alison.
Alison Pike and her business partner husband are parents to two children, with another one on the way. Juggling the work-life balance is important when running a business. “Time saved from commuting can be given over to home life, which means not missing out on the children's home work or bedtime,” says Alison.
