It is forecast to exhibit a negative compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.9% for the next seven years and is expected to reach $82.3m by 2016. The negative growth rate is primarily attributable to a weak pipeline. Furthermore, a substantial decrease in the prevalence of Paget’s disease will lead to a drop in the global prescription population.
