RSSFeedsWebpart is a very simple webpart allowing users to enter RSS url from different sources into a list, and display corresponding feeds available in the specific source feed url. Any number of RSS url’s can be entered in the default list FeedDetailsConfigure by the administrator/user. The primary advantage of this webpart is that the user or administrator can enter any number of RSS url and the corresponding feeds are displayed in a single webpart. Once the solution is deployed, it would add the components like RSSFeedsWebPart, FeedDetailsConfigure list, FeedDetailsInfo list & RSSFeedsTimerJob into the SharePoint environment. It includes a timer job named RSSFeedsTimerJob which populates the feeds in the list FeedDetailsInfo based on the RSS url’s present on FeedDetailsConfigure. The Admin can manually set timer job according to the requirement. The system requirements for SharePoint 2010 RSSFeedsWebPart are SharePoint 2010 foundation, Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 or higher versions & Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9. This Webpart is free for download and is available at Mindfire's website.
