Washington DC, September 8, 2010 - IASeminars, a global provider of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) training, has announced an expanded schedule of IFRS training courses across the United States for Q4 2010.
World leaders, including the G-20, are pushing for a single set of global accounting standards by December of 2011. In response to this directive, many countries either have adopted or soon will be adopting IFRS, including the United States.
"The surge forward with IFRS convergence and adoption has created a massive readiness gap," said Robb Sands, IASeminars Marketing Manager. "Recent studies by the AICPA and Deloitte have confirmed what we've known for some time - staff are not fluent in IFRS and training demand is soaring."
As a result of the increasing demand, IASeminars has expanded IFRS training available globally, and particularly in the United States. More than 100 different IFRS related training topics are scheduled in 20+ USA cities.
The intensive training courses are conducted by international expert faculty and last from one to eight days in duration. Topic areas include general introductory 'Basics', in-depth foundation skills 'Fundamentals', and the most robust of all offerings the 'Immersion' workshop. Industry specialty courses are also available which cater to the specific needs of Oil and Gas, Mining, Banking, Non-Profits, Utilities, and more.
Upcoming featured Course 1030: IFRS Basics is a 2-day program which is being offered in a number of cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, New York City, Seattle and Washington DC.
