According to a recent report, India now has more than 500 million mobile phone users. And this number is set to grow in the coming years. Mobile phones have revolutionized the way we communicate and stay in touch in this country. There was a time when having a telephone was seen as a status symbol. People used to bribe the government officials to get a fixed landline in their homes and offices.
But today, from an ordinary sweeper to an engineer, from a house maid to an MNC executive, everybody can afford a mobile phone in India.
