The King of Bollywood always takes care of his prized possessions and so was the case when Shahrukh Khan hosted a party for the International Singing sensation Akon. The Senegalese-American star was in city to record a song for King Khan's forthcoming movie 'RA1', directed by Anubhav Sinha and written by Mushtaq Sheikh. The high profile bash was held at Mumbai's JW Marriot Hotel with an elaborate list of attendees. The SRK Akon party is worth a watch bollywood event.
Shahrukh and Akon looked brothers in arms when they entered the party! SRK sported a dashing black jacket while the 'Smack That!' singer upped the style quotient with a glittering black jacket. As ever SRK was all praise for his co-star and glorified his singer by saying that Akon is one of the most gracious and sweetest star he has worked with. Akon returned the favor, literally by describing SRK in his own words as 'gracious' and 'sweetest'!
Former Pakistani cricketer and commentator Wasim Akram was also present at the event with Indian bowler Ishant Sharma and Kolkata Knight Riders teammate Saurav Ganguly. Bollywood hotties Koena Mitra, Sherlyn Chopra and Ria Sen added to the spice of the occasion. Incidentally, all three wore a strapless dress to the event. Bigg Boss 3 contestant Vindoo Singh and Claudia Ciesla also attended the party. 'Rocket Singh' star Gauhar Khan and Aarti Chhabria graced the occasion with former Miss India Juhi Chawla. Juhi looked elegant in a traditional Indian outfit. Also present at the event were DJ Aqeel, Farah Ali Khan, MTV Roadies fame Ranvijay, choreographer Ganesh Hegde, and singer Anushkha.
