Volunteer Challenge is a well known program that is known to work with the Bolivian people and works towards their development. The program has introduced different kinds of projects and has now invited volunteers to grab the opportunities and opt for teaching special needs children. The program invites volunteers to be a part of their projects and enjoy an affordable vacation at Bolivia. The program allows a candidate to volunteer special needs children and during the free time, he can explore Bolivia and learn more about the culture.

Mrs. Teresa Tellez, founder of the program elaborated, “Our program was introduced in 2004 and since then we have been working with the residents of Bolivia. Our aim is to help the local community to improve their life style and look forward to a better life. Since the beginning of our program our volunteers have been working with special needs children and have managed to help them. New volunteer have also approached us to know about teaching special needs children. So with our different educational project, one can volunteer special needs or work with orphans as well.”

The program has different kinds of projects. So if a volunteer has the knowledge and experience of teaching special needs children then he can join the project. If someone feels working with special needs children is not his forte then he can work with the orphans at the orphanages or be a part of English education program. Creative education projects are also offered by the program where the volunteers can help enhance the children’s creativity.

At Volunteer Challenge, the volunteers have the ease to participate in more than one program also. So with this the participants can volunteer special needs children and also be a part of the wildlife project or various other projects. They can also help in tourism development or work at the animal welfare sanctuary. All the projects that are offered by the program are of two weeks and are very affordable.

Talking about the accommodation, Mrs. Tellez added, “The volunteers working with special needs children and those in other projects get to stay with the local community. The accommodations provided to them are centrally located and are comfortable as well. The meals are also provided by their host family which gives them a chance to learn about Bolivian culture. If someone wants to know about teaching special needs children or about our projects then they can contact us and we can surely assist them.
