Tuppence Magazine entertainment news and reviews is about its readers’ opinions as much as it is about its own. The Writer of the Month competition gives it a chance to celebrate the best of the best news, reviews and opinion pieces submitted. As well as the accolade of Tuppence Writer of the Month, winners also scoop the bumper prize pack that’s been put together.

The last prize was won back in July, by Martin Leese for his review of Kraken, by China Meiville. The prize was a copy of Russell Brand’s My Booky Wook, the Transformers 2 DVD and the brilliant Family Guy Something, Something, Something, Dark Side DVD.

However, since then we have not awarded another winner, so the prize has rolled over every month until now, raising the December prize to include the Them Crooked Vultures album, a copy of Hans Fallada’s Alone in Berlin, Brandon Flowers’ first solo album, Flamingo, Rob Sheffield’s Love is a Mix Tape and the new Brian Eno album, Small Craft on a Milk Sea.

All readers have to do to enter is to submit a review, news or opinion piece to be in with a shout, so If you have read a good book, listened to a new album, been to a gig, seen a movie, watched something on the television, seen a show, played a computer game, know of any great music news, have been to an museum exhibition, tried a new restaurant or bought something recently and want to write about it then get typing.

As before, if we don’t have a winner in December then the bumper prize pack will roll over and be topped up with other stuff that happens to be lying around.
