When an entrepreneur and a tech-geek come together, it results in ideas never explored before. Deepanker Agarwal, an entrepreneur cum management student form IMT (Ghaziabad) and Gorav Singal, a computer wizard from Amity University (Noida), started sharing their learning of management and computers online. Soon there were feed backs and many people started to share various projects and presentations on the same platform. There were more than 12,000 uploads across various categories in no time. That’s when the Deepanker and Gorav thought of establishing a website as a common learning and sharing portal – KgsePG.com. The founder duo believes that education is a very vast field and a lot is still unexplored in this exponentially growing field. “Today there is a dearth of websites that use optimized technology for student. We are trying to bridge this gap by using WEB 2.0 for education,” says Singal.
On the occasion of formally announcing the launch of the website, the founders also declared that they will be launching more verticals in the time to come. “KGsePG.com allows students and users to maintain a database of all their work in a profile page. Each project or presentation is given a unique URL and remains online till the user decides to delete it. The site has an active user base from countries like Australia, American and many more. KGsePG.com also allows you to share multiple projects in one go. We have user telling us about the collaborations they had with visitors who viewed the projects on our site.” explains Aggarwal. He further adds, “We are trying to bring in a much focused approach in the education sector, by providing a podium for everyone for sharing and getting reviews.”
KGsePG.com is also useful for coaching and educational institutes as these institutions can upload their study material, assignments, homework on the website and invite students to view them. The current practice is to give study material and handouts in hard copy. The website will eliminate the need of a hard copy. The institutes can share the unique link provided to each project and give access to students anywhere.
