Children can look forward to some action packed entertainment this Christmas with the film Bhoot and Friends. The action-adventure-thriller promises to be a complete entertainment package for the children and their parents as well. The film is directed by Kittu Saluja, who had earlier made ‘Chain Kulli Ki Main Kulii’ and is produced by Aneesh Arjun Dev. Reshma A Dev has done the screenplay while, dialogues are by Sachindra Sharma. Sunil Singh has created the music for the film. The film will be released on 24th December under the banner of Wide Angle Media Private Ltd.
The story revolves around an eleven year old boy who is enjoying his summer vacations with his friends. All seems fine, until this group of kids get involved in hunting for a lost treasure by mistake. A villainous man (Ashwin Mushran) is also hunting for the same treasure. As the kids get entangled in the mystery, they come across a ghost with magical powers, played by Jackie Shroff. And thus begins a roller coaster journey of adventures that will keep you on the edge of your seats with loads of action and spine chilling thrill. The mystery of the lost treasure has to be resolved to save everyone's lives. Will the Ghost help these four kids?
Jackie Shroff in his ghostly role sports a spooky and scary look with a black magician’s dress and electric arcs flowing through his hands, somewhat similar to Darth Sidious. The child artistes include Markand Soni (Raghav), Ishita Panchal (Roma), Akash Nair (Igloo), Tejas Rahate (Ali). The film also has Aditya Lakhia in an important role other than Jackie Shroff and Ashwin Mushran.
