HTC Corporation (High Tech Computer Corporation) is a Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturing company, which was initially involved in producing smartphones based typically on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Operating System software. It is also a member of Open Handset Alliance, group of mobile network operators and handset producers dedicated to the development of Android mobile device platform.The company was founded by Peter Chou and Cher Wang in the year 1997, and was originally a producer of network PCs, which later started designing the first wireless handheld and touch gadgets of the world in 1998. Now, it has unveiled two ultimate smartphones to the market: HTC Droid Incredible and HTC Incredible S. HTC Droid Incredible takes the sole position as a top smartphone of Verizon with its blazing fast speeds, polished user interface and design. It is pretty fast and offers Android 2.1, eight-megapixel camera, internal memory of 8GB, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
The shape and design of Incredible is identical to all touchscreen smartphones in the market, and HTC sense user experience and finer details makes it completely different from other devices. It is identical to Nexus One measuring 0.47 inch thick, 4.63 inches tall and 2.3 inches wide. The Droid Incredible also offers some high end features including high resolution screen and Snapdragon processor.The HTC Incredible S works like a midtier Android smartphone offering four-inch crisp Super LCD multitouch screen, snappy performance and slick user experience. It measures 4.72 inches tall, 0.46 inch thick, 2.52 inches wide and weighs 4.78 ounces, making it slightly bigger as compared to Droid Incredible. The Incredible S features a high resolution capacitive Super LCD touchscreen that boasts 480 x 800 pixel resolution and provides wider viewing angles and better contrast as compared to regular LCD screens.
