Sissy Taran has learned many Life Lessons as a result of the death of her husband, Bernie. Sissy is a former elementary school teacher who is involved in a number of organizations including being a mentor in the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse’s Fighting Back program in Santa Barbara, which named her Mentor of the year. She is the author of The Sun Will Shine Again: Life Lessons From a Year of Grieving.
