Mindfire Solutions, a leading software company in India announced the release of a jQuery Plugin(mfsNiceControls) today. The Plugin is created inhouse by engineers at Mindfire Solutions and would be available for free download on Mindfire website.
"We have always utilized our time "on-bench" in creating applications which the software fraternity can use for workspace productivity improvement", said Amitabh Patnaik, Project Manager, Mindfire Solutions.
Subranil Dalal, a Senior Software Engineer at Mindfire Solutions who spearheaded the initiative, is elated. "The jQuery plug-in, mfsNiceControls would allow an user to create custom radio buttons and check-boxes in your HTML form." Mundane radio buttons would give way to stylish buttons and would add to the glitter. In HTML we cannot use CSS for styling these controls like we can with other input fields. mfsNiceControls overcomes this shortcoming. Using a basic theme for all radio buttons and check boxes by default, mfsNiceControls enables the user to override the default theme by selecting from other ones already provided in the plugin. The current beta version provides seven themes which are: Default, Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Black, Windows. He added.

1. No Extra HTML code required for styling the radio buttons or check-boxes.
2. No CSS used. So no additional css file to include in the page.
3. Very light weight.
