December 07, 2011 -- Dr. David Bradley owner of the luxury dental spa Studio 32 www.Studio32VIP.com proudly supported the 3rd annual Athletes Adopting Families for the Holidays event that was held at the Big Rock Restaurant in Birmingham Michigan. Adopt a Family for the holidays is a charity program supporting Volunteers of America of Michigan. This program matches families in need with individual and/or corporate sponsors who "adopt" them for the holidays. Donations received by sponsors provide new clothes for each child, toys or a gift for each child, and food for the whole family.
Volunteers of America is a national, nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Through hundreds of human service programs, including housing and healthcare, Volunteers of America helps over 2 million people in over 400 communities. Since 1896, their service has supported and empowered America's most vulnerable groups, including at-risk youth, the frail elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeless individuals and families, people with disabilities, and those recovering from addictions.
Dr. Bradley and the other attendees were treated to a night of music, dancing, cocktails and great food as the mixed and mingled together with some of Detroit’s elite athletes such as Detroit Lions 4x All-Pro Wide Receiver Herman Moore, 7x All Pro and Super bowl Champion Lomas Brown, current defensive standouts Louis Delmas, and Stephen Tulloch as well as Nate Burleson and several other active Detroit Lions players. Several current and past NBA Stars were also in attendance such as Jimmy King, Charlie Villanueva and 2011 Draft Pick Vernon Macklin, and Pistons original Bad Boy, Rick Mahorn.
