The Civic Association founded in 1944, is a non-profit grassroots volunteer organization encouraging residents to take an active interest in town affairs, promoting political responsibility through education and advocacy of public policy, and supporting local government in its efforts to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of governmental services.
Linda says, "I am delighted to serve as a Director on the prestigious Board of the Palm Beach Civic Association. This outstanding group of civic-minded individuals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the special quality of life in Palm Beach. I encourage all Palm Beach residents to take an active interest in the town by attending our monthly, in Season, Civic Association meetings held at the Bethesda-By-The Sea church hall. The meetings are a fabulous way to keep in touch with important town affairs, fellow citizens, and neighbors."
