Economia is Stimulating the Mexican Economy One Business At A Time

March 02, 2012 – Economia is the website of the Secretary of the Economy, the government branch in charge of stimulating the economy in Mexico. The branch is on its way to complete its goal one business at a time.

Economia offers news and information for Mexican companies small, medium and large. The idea is that these business owners might not know how to grow or expand, especially beyond Mexico's borders. The government branch provides business community news and information, lessons on economics for business owners, events news and information and complete transparency with regards to Mexican government business policy.

Business owners can come to the Economia for help with information systems, competiveness, innovation, foreign trade, normalization, industry, trade and more.

Economia also provides several products for Mexican business owners to help stimulate the economy. These products include funding options, management tools, training and consulting products, marketing strategies, innovation and technological development and information on exports and standards. The Secretary of the Economy hopes that by providing Mexican business owners with the help, advice and tools they need to get ahead, the Mexican economy will continue to improve by leaps and bounds.

Economia is also responsible for helping small, medium and large businesses attract foreign direct investment for Mexico. The Mexican government is attempting to attract FDI to help act as a catalyst for increasing savings and foreign exchange earnings, to encourage competition, enhance technology and much more. Last year, the Secretary of the Economy helped to attract 19,439.8 billion in FDI. That is an increase of 9.7% from 2010's figures.

The Secretary of the Economia plans to update the Economia website regularly with more help for Mexican business owners. The government branch also hopes to attract much more Foreign Direct Investment to beat last year's numbers. With four undersecretaries and seven foreign trade offices, along with three decentralized agencies related to business practices, the Secretary of the Economy (SE) is ready to help Mexican business owners and the entire country succeed.
