Jeff Ross, owner of the Showhomes Memphis and Little Rock franchises, and Donna Muelver of the Southeast Wisconsin franchise received this year's Ambassador Award at the Showhomes Annual Conference in Orlando, an honor given to franchise owners that have shown a dedication to helping other franchisees succeed.
"A part of what makes Showhomes unique is that individual franchises strive to help each other, which adds to the success of Showhomes as a whole," commented Muelver. "I thoroughly enjoy helping others be successful, so this award is a great personal honor for me."
Jeff Ross, alongside his wife Heidi, got his start with Showhomes in 2003 and remembers Beth George of the LA/Orange County Showhomes Franchise answering questions he had as a new franchise owner. Ross has taken that experience and paid it forward to help other new franchise owners in the Showhomes family, and also serves as Chairman on the Franchise Advisory Council. "We [as council member] work together to reach mutual interest between Showhomes Corporate and the franchisees. The goal is to continue to build a better franchise system that benefits all."
Ross understands the importance of networking and being a team player. "You have to want to help people and put your personal interests at bay to help the homeowner," he continued. "For those that like a challenge, like to help people, and enjoy day to day freedom, Showhomes is a great opportunity. It's nice to connect with other franchise owners and to look forward to growing as a whole. We can all help each other."
The three day Annual Conference included a trade show, franchisee panel discussions, presentations on growth strategies by industry experts, and plenty of opportunities to network and connect with other franchise owners.
