NEW YORK, NY—November 24, 2009 - iYogi, the fastest growing on-demand tech services company, announced the top 10 support issues when upgrading to Windows 7 after the first month of its commercial release. iYogi has published the tips for fixing these problems on its comprehensive online resource for migrating to Windows 7. Windows 7 upgrade issues are tracked from service requests from iYogi customers and social media conversations. The following are the top 10 issues. For information on how to resolve these, visit http://windows7.iyogi.net.

Issue 1: Upgrade from Vista hangs at 62 percent completed level
Windows 7 can cause problems while upgrading from Windows Vista, as it hangs forever at 62 percent complete level.
Issue 2: DVD drive not found?
In some scenarios the DVD drive is not found in a Windows 7 Installation. You may have checked and found that the drive is visible in BIOS and under the standard driver.
Issue 3: Aero theme isn't running
If the transparency has been turned off, this could be because the Aero theme may not be fully enabled on your system.
Issue 4: Aero Snap problems
Windows 7 has a handy new ability to move and resize windows, all in one movement. However sometimes it does not work as expected and can become annoying.
Issue 5: iPhone won't sync with Windows 7 systems
Sometimes the iPhone does not sync properly with the Windows 7 systems (usually with the 64-bit edition). The iPhone sometimes get recognized, however, but then iTunes returns with the error 0xE8000065.
Issue 6: Custom icons get changed with new theme
When new Windows 7 theme is applied to the system, custom icons can be lost.
Issue 7: Taskbar problems
In Windows 7, by looking at the taskbar it is difficult to tell at a glance whether an icon is a running application or a pinned shortcut.
Issue 8: Missing Applets
Installation for Windows 7 is quick and takes less hard drive space as compared with its older counterparts. However it does not include the applets like Mail, Movie Maker, Photo Galley etc with the standard Windows installation.
Issue 9: Too many minidumps

By default Windows 7 keeps the last 50 minidumps file. These files are the memory images saved on the system when your PC crashes.

Issue 10: Hidden extensions

Windows Explorer's default setting in all the versions of Windows is to hide file extensions, as well as system files and folders.
