Carl David Ceder, Attorney at Law, has been selected and recognized for the second consecutive year as a 2015 Texas Rising Star Attorney in the field of "Criminal Defense" by the Texas Monthly Magazine. This achievement is only given and awarded to 2.5% of all attorneys, and is distinction only bestowed to those who undergo a rigorous selection process. All attorneys first go through the Super Lawyers Rising Star selection process, provided they are first eligible to do so. They first have to be nominated by a high-ranking Super Lawyer peer, then it is based on previous and past work and success, peer review from colleagues, and achievement in the courtroom based on ethical standards, high accolades bestowed upon through hard work and excellence, and relentless determination to constantly achieve and strive to always commit to accomplish as much as possible within their chosen career field.
Carl David Ceder has also been selected and recognized by The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40. The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, is a selection process among trial attorneys throughout the nation, with the final result of the selection process being a credible and comprehensive list of the young lawyers chosen to represent their respective state. The selection for this exclusive list is limited to only 40 attorneys per state who have extensive experience in criminal defense law.
Carl David Ceder has also been selected and recognized in membership in the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. Inclusion into The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, is an honor given to only a select group of lawyers for their superior skills and qualifications in their respective field. The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, an invitation-only organization composed of the premier trial lawyers from each state in the nation who meet stringent qualifications among criminal defense trial lawyers. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase process which includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. Membership is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile.

Carl David Ceder, has also been named a "Founding Member" of the newly formed national organization "Driving Under The Influence Defense Lawyers Association" (DUIDLA). DUIDLA has a mission statement which articulates that it is dedicated to: protecting and ensuring by rule of law those individual rights guaranteed by the state and federal constitutions in DUI-related cases; to resist the constant efforts which are being made to curtail these rights; to encourage cooperation between lawyers engaged in the furtherance of these objectives through educational programs and other assistance; to serve as the first and last line of defense of the constitution; to assist attorneys and public defenders in obtaining advanced training in DUI-related areas through our education scholarship grants.
