Oxford, Massachusetts, United States of America (prbd.net) 09/01/2015
Bridgeport, Connecticut - (IndustrialPR.net) The Industrial Leaders Group (ILG) announced today the registration approval of New England Grinding and Machining, LLC for the prestigious ARM 9009-2013 quality certification (http://www.ARM9009.com). According to Henry Kroger, Regional Director for the Governing Board of ARM 9009, the certificate was issued by G-PMC Registrars, LLC and is accredited by ABAC™ (American Board of Accredited Certifications), the premier independent accreditation body in the United States.

New England Grinding and Machining, LLC is a veteran owned business that has currently holds numerous certifications for quality, including ISO 9001: 2008, AS9100 Rev C, ISO/TS 16949 2002, and ISO 13485 2003. The company was recently awarded VOB 9009 (http://www.VOB9009.com) for being a Veteran-owned business meeting quality standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization, and overseen by the Industrial Leaders Group (ILG). Walt Jacques, owner of the company was presented the VOB 9009 certificate by Daryl Guberman, CEO of certification body G-PMC Registrars. Guberman unexpectedly made a personal visit to New England Grinding & Machining to present the framed certificate to Mr Jacques as a token of appreciation for serving the country.

Agatha Adelman, spokeswoman for ABAC™ (http://www.aboac.org) said New England Grinding and Machining has met all requirements for the registration of ARM 9009, which according to Adelman is the most difficult quality certification to achieve because it focuses specifically on the precision and close tolerance manufacturing of firearms, and the performance-critical needs associated with the armoring systems industry. “As a certified ARM 9009 company, New England Grinding and Machining has shown its quality management system (QMS) has met the requirements of firearm manufacturers as well as fabricators of armored vehicles, if within the company's capabilities,” said Adelman. She added, “ABAC™ congratulates New England Grinding and Machining for being one of the first grinding facilities in the region achieving the widely sought after ARM 9009-2013 certification.”
