The Royal Kona Resort recently published an article on “Must-See Spots On The Big Island.” The resort wrote and published the article as part of their ongoing efforts to provide useful resources for the vacationers who stay at their resort. By doing so they can help guests enjoy their time on the island by pursuing a wider array of activities.
Many of the locations that The Royal Kona Resort included in their article will appeal to the coffee lover in everyone. This is because Kona is world renowned for its coffee and guests of the resort won’t have to go far to experience the Kona growing culture first hand.
The first spot the article mentions is Holualoa, a small village in Kona that “runs on java.” From there they introduce and discuss The Roastmaster Tour which guests can go on at the UCC Hawaii Kona Coffee Estate. This tour allows you to roast your own, one-of-a-kind blend of beans. It will also teach guests different techniques for roasting, and will allow them to create their own private label.
