Most divan beds are manufactured in the UK and are the most popular type of beds as they are available with drawers for extra storage, which is always welcome in any bedroom. There are 2 types of divan bases: platform top and sprung edge bases. The main difference between the two is that the sprung edge base contains springs within the wooden frame thus providing a cushioning effect whilst the platform top is constructed as a traditional wooden frame.
