While most of the people wish to buy new houses there are few who consider buying resale or foreclosed property for sale. Recently county has added a few more homes for sale to its previous list.

The list as given out by the Decatur County Board of Commissioners now lists in total 6 different foreclosed properties acquired at tax sales for sale. These are properties which were foreclosed for some or the other reason and have been put for sale through auction. Any responsible person interested in bidding on the property for sale or the home for sale can send sealed bids wrapped in an envelope.
“Bidding on foreclosed property for sale and home for sale is a good option for people who are willing to invest in such property as there are chances that the property can be obtained for a much lower price. But to be considered it is important that the bidder follows the exact process. Completed bids are generally required to be sent to the body which has asked for bids” said Director, Repeat Property.
It was also declared those who are interested in bidding can download the blank bid from internet or collect in person from the Decatur County Administrative Office Building, 203 W. Complete address of the administrative office is Broughton Street, Bainbridge, Georgia, 39817. The bank bid for the foreclosed property for sale can be collected from here between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Completed bids will be required to be sent to the same address as above latest by 2 pm, Friday, August 6, 2010. Bid opening process will start the same day just after the bid closes that is at 2:01 pm. Of course the property for sale will go to the highest bidder. Many people have been able to own a property by successfully bidding on the foreclosed property for sale.
After the opening of all the bids those who have bid the highest amount for the property for sale are declared to be successful and are required to pay the bid price within 5 days of winning the bid. If in case the bidder fails to pay the bid price then the next highest bidder is given the chance. The Decatur County Board of Commissioners offers four options to make the bid payment. The winning bidder can pay U.S. Currency, Money Order, Certified Cashier’s Check or a company check. The payment should be accompanied with bank guarantee.
