Grammar Rules

The knowledge of good grammar is an essential tool to learning the English language. But don’t be obsessed by it, rather learn different examples and that will certainly be the best way of improving your skills.

There are many grammar topics available, and each topic will improve your English language skills. Here we will just dwell on a few examples, so as to give you a general understanding of what it is all about.

Grammar rules cover verbs, adjectives, nouns, pronouns. The list is just endless, but as I said. The few examples will give you a simple idea.

A verb is a word that shows action eg. Runs, slides, jumps. An example of a verb in use would be He ran past the block.

If a verb follows to, then it is called an infinitive phrase and not a main verb. The main verb can be found just before or after the infinitive phrase. An example of this would be: I like to walk and the efforts to get her re-elected succeeded.

This is the first rule.

More rules and many ways in which grammar can be used can be found here on this site.
