NBA trading deadline to end on Thursday and ramous for possible trading among teams are increasing and Cleveland Cavaliers is no step behind. During 2010/2011 season Cavs showed the worst 10-46 performance of their entire playing history while they also set an NBA record by losing 26 consecutive games. If we look at just the last two months, they lost all the 17 games played in January 2011 while in February they were defeated 6 times out of 8 games played. They got their recent victory in the last games played against Lakers on February 16 and on Wednesday, February 23 against Houston. They have to play two more in the current month; on February 25 against New York, and on February 27 against Philadelphia.
So when the NBA deadline is approaching closer all the critics and Cavs fans are looking towards Cavaliers. According to critics Cavaliers need more than a few players on their official players’ list to resume their winning power and this is something they will be able to do over a couple of years. They have good players on hand including Ramon Sessions, Christian Eyenga and J.J. Hickson but they still need some young and fresh blood.
According to Yahoo! Sports writer Marc J. Spears’ new Tweet, Cleveland Cavaliers has shown his willingness to trade any of his players for future draft picks. Cavs is also receiving calls from other teams for the trading of his players like Ramon Sessions who is on the possible pickup list of Atlanta, Portland, and New York, while Chicago and Boston have given hints about Anthony Parker. About Parker there have been enough rumors that Cavalier is no more interested to renew their contract with 35 years old shooting guard. However according to news, they are willing to take parker off their books only if Bulls or Celtics include a young post player, such as Semith Erden (Boston) or Omer Asik (Bulls) with a pick.
According to sources Cleveland Cavaliers are not in position to trade Sessions as he is now not only their best player but another thing that makes Cavs to keep Sessions on hands is their guard Mo Williams, who got sprained ankle in his last game against Lakers. Moreover Williams and forward Antawn Jamison are two Cleveland players not on the trading list for this season.
With the Carmelo drop scene and around 48 hours left in the NBA trading deadline it has become very important for Cavaliers to make the right move that slowly takes them toward the LeBron James era. Buy cheap Cleveland Cavaliers tickets to support your favorite team live in stadium.
