As the regional automotive industry gathers in Dubai this week for Automechanika Middle East 2011, there is growing realisation across all sectors represented that the auto aftermarket is set to scale new heights riding on unflagging regional demand.

With the aftermarket involving an ever greater number of entrepreneurs and stakeholders, there will be high interest in the Automechanika Academy, that will address key trends and developments in the industry and offer tips, directional and professional guidance to trade visitors and exhibitors of Automechanika Middle East.

The Academy, to be held on the second day of the three-day trade event, on Wednesday, June 8th, will feature a panel of distinguished speakers with vast experience in their respective fields. The programme, which is free to trade visitors and the Automechanika Middle East exhibitors, is being offered as a key value-add to the main trade event by organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt.

“As more and more people get involved in the high-growth aftermarket sector, we strive to provide them with the top advice and guidance from the best in the business,” said Mr. Ahmed Pauwels, Chief Executive Officer of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “In this way we are trying to create awareness of the latest trends and developments and promote industry best practices in the region,” he added.
