San Diego, CA, June 10, 2011 -- Ludus Tours ( http://www.ludustours.com ) has hired Brian Melekian as Vice President of Operations and Strategy. Melekian will work directly with the executive, account management and sales teams to oversee daily operations while applying his experience and vision toward shaping new strategy and processes that will enable unprecedented growth for the company.
"I’m extremely thrilled at the opportunity to join Adam and the team at Ludus to build on the foundation already in place and to take the company to new levels," said Brian Melekian, Vice President of Operations and Strategy.
Melekian joins Ludus Tours with over a decade of operations management experience in the sports industry. Most recently he served as the Senior Vice President of the United Football League (UFL) and the Virginia Destroyers. During his two years with the UFL, Melekian oversaw all facets of UFL stadium operations and day-to-day business and created over a dozen new systems still in use. His efforts improved efficiencies and contributed to revenue growth of the third year football league.Previous experience in the sports operations industry includes director level positions held with the Anschtz Entertainment Group, specifically with the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Home Depot Center.
