Standard features on Inspiron 1420 include 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor, 667MHz 2GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB 5400 rpm hard disk drive, Intel 965 chipset, Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS and Windows Vista Premium Operating System. Samsung R540 is a well built and smart laptop, which is quite powerful, lightest in its segment and offers Blu-ray drive, Core i5 processor, midrange ATI graphics card, stylish design and adjoining numeric keypad. It is thick and shiny because of its hard plastic material, while the alternating dark grains and brown stain are unlike any decorative pattern done before.
