Indeed they have been written about in thousands of books and are mentioned by motivational speakers and others everyday. Unfortunately, many women know little or nothing of these qualities because they have not experienced them in person.
The first and most important quality that will lead you to success is persistence. Simply focusing on a task and not giving up is often the key to success. Most people achieve success by being smart or capable but by sticking to a plan until they succeed at it.
Other qualities that will lead you to success are related to persistence they include courage, strength, stamina, faith, determination and focus. All of these qualities can be learned through exposure to people who have them. These qualities cannot be learned from books or motivational speakers.
This means you need to find role models who have those qualities and live them everyday. For women it is vital to find other women who have those qualities and embody them. That means you need to hang around successful women if you want to be successful.
Spending time with other women that have succeeded in their careers, particularly in your field is a vital ingredient in the recipe for success. Fortunately there are many places where a woman can go to meet such individuals. These include organizations such as the National Association of Professional Women or NAPW and volunteer groups.
Discouragement is an easy habit to develop, especially if you try to go it alone. If you do not others success you will believe that you will fail and you will fail. To make matters worse, many people spend time around those who have failed and start modeling their behavior. Not surprisingly these ladies come to believe that failure is the only option.
