Eastampton, NJ - Song of Songs is a trans-dance musical celebration of the sensual relationship knit together and expressed in covenant marriage. The poetic lyrics are derived from the Old Testament book describing the courtship between Solomon and Shulamite. It is a beautiful compilation of closed-door wedding melodies, designed to highlight the process of pursuit, longing, bonding and marital longevity.
Song of Songs today is a part of special occasion like wedding where these songs are played in the background to set the mood for the event. Songs can be carefully chosen for different types of events with the lyrics perfectly suited for the occasion. The entire credit for it goes to none else but the songwriter of those beautiful melodies.
LaRae Raine is one such lyricist who is also a music arranger with all her songs echoing beautiful messages from the Bible. She has been involved in creating a wonderful collection of songs during the past two decades, and her musical journey continues till date. She has been trained by pianists like Chiu Tze Lin, Laurie Altman and Dan Kleiman. Her latest CD called Song of Songs describes a covenant marriage that expresses the holy side of a sensual relationship. The lyrics are derived from the Old Testament which describes the romance between Solomon and Shulamite. All her songs give the messages of truth and hope on which the biblical teachings are based.

She has an upcoming tour in 2012 to present the Song of Songs to all the music lovers which would be a very pleasant musical experience. This brilliant composer has fused lyrics and melody with a slow disco to convey the intended messages. In this album, her husband John has sung with her to create the 8-song CD.
LaRae can be commissioned to write original lyrics and compose music for any personal or special occasion. She has played piano and led worship for many of the churches and spiritual retreats.
