We are mobile web store developers, 3 months ago we set out to find a solution to this problems we wanted an entrepreneurs solution , an elegant solution with a particular emphasis on lack of standardisation among smartphones and capital constraints.
Like a hurricane the global credit crunch devastate everything in it's path in 2009 , now the storm appears to have abated , we begin the process of assessing the damage and rebuilding . Everyone except Apple that is ! , who's iconic iPhone has gone from strength to strength , it transpires through boom or bust we will always invest in useful innovation , but is there more to the iPhones success than hype . Is Apples reinvention of the smart phone just clever marketing or does it have substance , have apple created a market.
It is early days but m-commerce on touch screen tablets and smart phones , look like a real game changer , the other players , scrambling to emulate the iphone certainly believe so . Phones are going to get cheaper and smarter . Since mobile phones were first introduced , mobile phone ownership has exploded , the number of potential online smart phone customers will dwarf traditional internet use.
Thanks in part to recent advances in browser technology , led by opera with it's excellent browser mini opera. [It is rumored that google and firefox are hard on it's heels , but for now mini opera rendering and speed , make it the worlds most popular mobile browser]
