Tower Defense with Defense Zone 1.1: More than War Strategy for iOS

Newly released Defense Zone 1.1 brings critical issues of the day into focus for a generation raised on video games. Defense tactics and elaborate weapons train the war strategical thinking and suit the tastes of future field marshals over 9 years. Inspired by the ongoing events on the battlefields this game is in advance of others of the same kind taking into account its crafted interface, finely tuned balance, sensible OpenFeint support and eye-catching graphics.

As regards shortcomings of bunch of similar games which developers experienced in person, Defense Zone 1.1 is notable for its worked out interface. The panels are easier to operate, the top panel is used only for the information, the lower - for management, and the right panel opens for operations on the chosen tower (sale, upgrade, firing modes, current and future characteristics).

The important feature of the game is an algorithm of appearance of units and corresponding waves. Waves are automatically generated, each following the preceding complex, since everything is balanced: distance between units, their total health, which makes the game interesting to play both on easy and hard levels. One more key feature is that maps have close to real and scenic detailed background with the units attuned to every new map.

While the gamers concentrate on defense with the turrets against the massive hordes of enemies, air raids, etc., the game provides more levels and types of weapon. In contrast to many games this one does not allow one super-weapon, only an artful combination of all of them can play that role. Different firepower, rate of fire, firing range, blast radius and price help gamers master their skilful shots.

Defense Zone supports OpenFeint that simplifies posting all level results in a consolidated database for further comparing with other players whatever level they play. Points are given not only for the number of dead units, but also for remaining lives after the passage of the level, for killing stronger units and for the time spent on the whole.

Poised to be played soon Defense Zone 1.1 may entertain the savvy gamer fond of war strategy and pertinent weaponry from liquid nitrogen cannon to howitzer.
