Save My Home or Home Saver formerly located in Beverly Hills, CA operated from 2008-2010 Hinkles, Guirdy, Wheeler, Corn and Medearis were all charged in an indictment returned on December, 2, 2011 with eight counts of mail fraud and 16 counts of bankruptcy fraud.
Hinkles was arrested by the FBI Dec. 1, 2011 in the morning by special agents including the united States Postal Service, The Federal Housing Finance Agency, and the Inspector General.
According to documents, Hinkles was the founder of Horizon Property Holdings LLC operating the Homesaver program that promised distressed homeowners from foreclosure and reduced the principal on homeower mortgages.
Several affiliate companies had been created including Property Relief, and JW Financial Solutions. To prevent the foreclosure and defraud the lenders. the allegation illustrate that the defendants filed deed transferring interest in the homeowners property., to a entity called Pacifica Group 49/II.
The defendants filed fraudulent petitions in bankruptcy court, usually naming the Pacifica Group as the debtor. Due to the bankruptcy law, the automatic provisions brings an immediate halt to any foreclosure options. The indictment alleges that the defendants collected at least 5 million in fees from over 1,000 clients.
The defendants in this case stand accused of profiting on the desperation of people who are trying to hold onto their most valuable asset, their homes" said the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California.
