Instead of offering one-for-all treatments, the compound pharmacy specializes in customized medications and Bio Identical Hormone replacements for the individual. The pharmacy has tackled men's health problems, pediatrics, women's health and even veterinary care. Now, The Healthy Choice has its sights set on another major female problem i.e. The Human Papilloma Virus or HPV.
HPV is the most commonly sexually transmitted infection. With more than 40 strains that can affect both men and women, most don't even know they have it. In women, HPV can lead to cervical cancer. The cancer can go undetected until it is in the advanced stages and this is why it is extremely dangerous for women everywhere. Currently there is no cure for HPV but, the symptoms caused by the infection can be treated.
The Healthy Choice wants to help women who have contracted HPV and keep them cervical cancer free by developing a new customized HPV treatment. The Healthy Choice already makes treatments for Menopause, helping with problems like insomnia, hot flashes, anxiety and rapid weight gain. The HPV treatments will help to alleviate any symptoms of the Human Papilloma Virus.
Like all other medications of The Healthy Choice, the HPV treatments are designed to meet the needs of specific patients. The new HPV treatment is still in the development stage and is expected to be released later this year.
