" SMS went to first International Visit of Singapore "
School of Management Sciences, Varanasi organised its first international study tour to Singapore for its students, to aquaint the students with the international business scenario in the globalised era. The 15 member group was headed by Mr. Shardul Chaubey, Sr. Lecturer, SMS. The one week tour had students from different streams such as PGDM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-IRM & PGDM-RM. The 15 member group departed on 26 October, 2009 from Varanasi to Calcutta and there from to Singapore. The international study tour was a pioneering attempt by SMS to send its students to gain international exposure. By organizing such international study tour SMS has already emerged as one of the very few
management institutes in the country which is committed for the overall development of the students. It is the only institute in Eastern U.P. to initiate such international visits.
On 28 morning the group boarded their flight and headed towards THE FINE CITY-SINGAPORE. The students after an enthralled and exuberant 3.5 hours long journey reached Changi International.
